About us

An information service for alternative investments

CompareAlternativeInvestments.com helps investors understand and compare alternative investment opportunities. We don't manage money, and we don't give advice — we help you find opportunities that match your investment level, experience, and investor status.

What we do

Alternative investments — private equity, private real estate, hedge funds, fine art and similar assets — sit outside the mainstream, regulated investment market. They're typically higher-risk, harder to exit, and restricted by law to investors who meet specific eligibility criteria.

We built this site to make that landscape easier to navigate: a short set of questions about your investment level and experience, a legally-required self-certification of your investor status, and a small, curated set of opportunities matched to your answers. We're adding real opportunities gradually — some of what you see on the comparison tool right now is placeholder test data, clearly marked, while we do.

Who we feature

Real introducing partners featured on this site are UK-registered firms. We publish only what each one discloses on its own website — we don't add or embellish. Other listings on our comparison tool may be demo opportunities using placeholder figures while we integrate real data — these are always marked "DEMO DATA."
